Breaking Dawn part 1

Hey! Well, I wanted to make a post last week before the premiere, but the time overtook me :/
So, it's been a week since Breaking Dawn part 1 came out! I was at the premiere :D
Me with the Ticket! :)

So. The movie is Ohh my God AMAZING! I've seen it twice now. And I think I'll go see it the third time as well :) Huge fan and all that :P

How did it all begin?
Well there was my mum. And she totally fell for it. And she started reading. And she said "Nea you should see Twilight". Ok. I've asked a friend if he had this movie and we had watched it together. And how did I fell for it. Ahh. I was totally in. And ofcourse I wanted to read the book! And so everything started with that.

I went to make my Erasmus student year in Sicily. We had this trip organized to Rome in november. I love Rome! :) So we went. Me and Rebecca were going around Rome for 4 days. How amazing it was!! We needed to leave on Monday. On Monday morning we were walking around Rome and at Pizza della Republica I saw him. My heart stopped. Oh my God!! I couldn't belive it! There was this BIG HUGE poster of Robert Pattinson with the Volvo. And I was like "This is it! This is the sign!! They are coming to Rome!" The point was that my friend can read cards, and I've asked her if I will ever see Robert Pattinson and she said YES. So now you understand my agitation when I saw that huge poster of him. This was my chance. I stayed in Rome for another 3 days. Alone. Who gives a shit?! I had such a great time!

On November 17th I was there on Piazza Republica waiting. For hours. Ahh. And waiting and waiting. No show. But noone told us if they will come or if they won't. We didn't know. So we waited. In the end it was obvious they won't come. Too bad. BUT there was this man, I was standing in the first row, and he gave me the ticket!! OOOhh!! I was super excited!
So I went in! :) New Moon is my favourite twilight book so far, so I was really excited to see this movie! So you can imagine my dissapointment when the movie was in Italian. Ok don't get me wrong, I speak Italian, but THIS was horrible. You can't imagine how just horrible is to listen to Kristen and Robert speak in Italian. The voices were awful. Totally. I wanted to cry because of the sound and not because of the story :/
But there was this reporter and she have took my statment or how you wonna call it :P It's still on the internet :P It's in Italian but still ;)
You can find the article here.
The months past by and I was still reading the same books. Yeah. Obsession I know. And June came by. I was preparing myself for my last exame. And I decided I'll go to Rome after the last exame for few days. I was checking the internet and news and was when I saw it. Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are coming to Rome in June. 3 days after my exame. The day I was suppose to be in Rome. Oh my God!! I started jumping in the midle of the computer room. I couldn't belive it! I checked the hostel. Full. NO FUCKING WAY! I called my parents. A friend of ours told me before that if I wanted to go to Rome he had friends who lives there. I called. Make it happen, make it happen!! And they did! :) I went to Rome :)

It was so hot. No clouds. Just sunny. I came there at 11.30 AM. They arrived at the red carpet at 6.15 PM. I was literally melting on the sun. But it was worth it! Kristen is so so beautiful! I've always knew that, but I was still shocked at how amazingly beautiful she really is. Taylor looks.. young. lol :P It was great! And that time I've made it sure I won't see the movie in Italian! I've waited 2 weeks and I saw it in Slovenia with the subtitles ;) Way better!
Me at the Twilight fan event in Rome! I'm the one behind in the red dress.
This November I had an agreement with my sister that we will go to London for the premiere. Our plan didn't work out, so we didn't go :/ I'm still sad about it tough. But next year for the part two we will definitely go! If it is the last thing I'll do, I'll be there!! ;)
A pic from the premiere on 17.11.2011 ;)
So, that my Twilight story :) What's yours? ;)

PS. Yeah I totally know I am obsessed with Rome ;) But belive me, when you'll see it, you will understand perfectly!

The spell-driven source of the blight isn't the only challenge to Eugenie's instincts. Fairy king Dorian is sacrificing everything to help, but Eugenie can't trust the synergy drawing them back together. The uneasy truce between her and her shape shifter ex-lover Kiyo is endangered by secrets he can't--or won't--reveal. Spoiler alert for Iron Crowned guys ;)
Ohh I can't wait for this book to come out!! The end of Iron Crowned was just awful. I mean what the hell? Jerk, idiot, I hate him! But then again I was always team Dorian, so I was in a way actually happy, that she finally understand Kiyo is an idiot! :P But still!! HOW COULD HE?! His own kids?! Bastard.

And honestly? I was actually so sad that the babys weren't Dorians. He wanted kids so much. And he would make a way better dady :P Ok, ok he said he will addopt them, but still I wish they were his. And for Eugenie to finally understand that Dorian IS the one :D

I am super extra excited because Richelle posted the first chapter of the book a couple of days ago. It was her birthday and she tought to give us a present! How nice is that!! :) And it's great!! You can find it here.

This is the last book of the serie, and I hope the end will be ok :) Aaaa can't wait!!

And you? What are you waiting this Wednesday? :)

Top Ten Authors I Want At My Thanksgiving Dinner

It's Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is
Top 10 Authors I Want At My Thanksgiving Dinner

Well, although in Slovenia we don't celebrate Thanksgiving like Americans do, I've always loved this American tradition. In movies, it was always so so funny to watch :D

1. Richelle Mead
Well well, of course if you went trough my blog just a bit you definitely know that I love Richelle and her books from the deep of my heart. I would probably die to meet her. I would like to thank her for making me remember me who I really was(still am). I could never thank her enough for that. So definitely Richelle would be invited to my dinner ;)

2. Cassandra Clare
Ohh I would love to hear more about.. Jace, Jace, Jace ♥. There will never be enough Jace in my life I guess :P And the tattoo stuff and all the paranormal characters in just one story.. Awesome!

3. Julie Kagawa
Ohh I would love to meet Julie!! The way she made the character of Ash is just incredible. And also how she made up the name Meghan Chase :P I love these books so so much!

4. Cynthia Hand
After reading Unearthly.. Ohh yes totally yes!! I love her writing! I am dying to read Hallowed!! Her writing is so.. ahh you can't stop reading ;)

5. Sophie Jordan
Ohh yeah! Although I think sometimes Jacinda was a bit.. huh self-destructive, I loved her writing. And always Will, ohh Will :P And I want to know how she came up with the names Jacinda and Tamra!!

6. Elizabeth Gilbert
Well, even if I haven't finished the book Eat, pray, love (my sister is reading it right now) I loved her writing. The chapters from Rome were so REAL. People while reading it can understand what depression is like, and that is not just a feeling of being sad and stuff like that. It so so real. I loved it. Ohh and also the India part with meditation! - I've had an experience with the therapy with the gong, and I can definitely say, Elizabeth now I understand how amazing meditation is! It was one of the best experiences in my life so far! And I would love to discuss it with her.

7.  Dan Brown
Although people said his writing is bullshit and stuff like that, oh God how much I enjoyed his books! They were so so interesting and great and they felt so real. I would love to hear how he came up with something like DaVinci's Code and Angels and Demons because you can say whatever you want,  but THESE books were AMAZING! ;)

8. Suzanne Collins
Totally yes! I would love to hear how she came up with the idea of the hunger games. I mean in the society today (if we leave out the really poor countries like the ones in Africa) people really don't think about hunger much. In the society of capitalism, we really don't feel like we are hungry, not at all. We actually have problems of eating too much. So that's why the idea of the hunger games was so fascinating to me.

9. Gayle Forman
I would love to meet her! The way she describes all the feeling of Adam in Where She Went, was just amazing. You could actually feel what he was feeling. I was so sad while reading this book. I loved it. The writing was perfect!

10. Stephenie Meyer
Well yeah, although people have different feelings and thoughts toward the Twilight books, I must say I loved them. So much. I've been re-reading them for a year when they came out. I would like to thank her, for discovering my love of English, and for getting me and my mum a chance to get along really well. We have now a relationship I would have never dream of before Twilight. So yeah I am really grateful for that!

So this is my top 10 for this Tuesday. It's funny, I've thought I wouldn't get to number 10 :P And I did! I think this would have made a really interesting dinner :P Too bad it's left just to my imagination :/
So, what author would you like to have to your Thanksgiving dinner?

Re-Readathon!

It's finally here!

Friday answer:
I've been thinking a lot about it.. What will I want to re-read? Huh A LOT ;) And then last week when I was in Lubiana and found my favourite bookstore EVER and I saw Hush, Hush I said "Ooooh yeah! Definitely yes!" and I bought it ;) First time I've read it on my computer, but I fell for this book so much I needed to have a paperback :) So this is what I'm gonna re-read this weekend :) My reading is kind of slow so I'll put just one book as my goal :)

Hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
391 pages
Published October 13th 2009 by Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

- Goodreads.com description

Ohh Patch
This guy is one of my favourite male characters EVER! He is dangerous, hot, attractive, sexy, caring, good, fallen, funny, ahh I could go on forever!

So I will post how my reading is going and I will post as well some of my favourite parts of this book that made me fall in love with it so so much! :)

"You've found one girl who fits your profile - attractive, intelligent, and vulnerable. How do you let her know you're interested?"
"Single her out. Talk to her."
"Good. Now for the big question - how do you know if she's game or if she wants you to move on?"
"I study her," Patch said. "I figure out what she's thinking and feeling. She's not going to come right out and tell me, which is why I have to pay attention. Does she turn her body toward mine? Does she hold my eyes, ten look away? Does she bite her lip and play with her hair, the way Nora is doing right now?"
Laughter rose in the room. I dropped my hand to my lap.
"She's game," said Patch, bumping my leg again. Of all things, I blushed.

This was the part where I fell in love with the character of Patch. Here I said, "I want a guy exactly like this!!" A guy how makes me blush when I don't want to, a guy who state the facts about me just like that. A guy who's not shy, who tells things like they are. A guy who takes the risk ;)

Saturday answer:
My general feeling about re-reading are actually quite good!! I mean I've always been re-reading books, but it was always re-reading the good parts, the parts which I loved. This time I started the book from beginning and it's more fun, I can say. Sometimes you just forget the small funny parts and you focus just on the big ones you do remember. Re-reading the whole book remembers you ALL the best parts :) I actually don't have a feeling that I am going quickly through the book, no, actually I am enjoying every part of it! Slowly ;) Well, the first time reading a book is a unique experience, but the second time is also good! Like I said not just the BIG parts but the whole book all together. It's great! I shoud do it more often! ;))

Sunday answer:
My experience of re-reading was really good. I've enjoyed so much! After starting bloging and after I've joined Goodreads I must admit that finiding time to re-read is such a hard thing! But I've always loved re-reading, watching a movie for 5 times and more, listening to a song for weeks :P I'm just that kind of person. And I love it! So overall my experience was great! SO thanks again Jamie for this oportunity! With so many books to read sometimes we forget how cool and great is re-reading them! ;)

Happy Re-readathon guys! :)

Waiting on Hallowed by Cynthia Hand

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine to shine a spotlight on upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

For months part-angel Clara Gardner trained to face the raging forest fire from her visions and rescue the alluring and mysterious Christian Prescott from the blaze. With her future uncertain, the only thing Clara knows for sure is that the fire was just the beginning.

- Goodreads.com description

Spoiler alert for Unearthy guys ;)

OH MY GOD!! I finished right now Unearthy and Oh my Ooooooh!! What a story!! OMG OMG! Clara is such a lovely girl! :) I like her a lot. But actually that doesn't mean that I approve her decisions. What the hell?!

Ok ok Tucker is a nice guy, ok, in the begining he acted like a jerk, yeah, he cares for her and bla bla. What about THE GREATER GOOD?! I mean Christian, apart from the fact that he is Goddamn HOT, HE is the choice she should had made for God's sake!! Literally actually. I mean, huh?! He likes her, he cares for her and then he went for 2 months in NYC and she hooks up with someone else?! NO fucking way!! I was so so disapointed :/

Ok, don't get me totally wrong - I was happy for her, really. She was finally happy and accepted and all, but still! Greater good and stuff?! I'm sorry I just can't get over with it.

And after the END - which was like OMG what on earth is going on?! - I see the released date is in January?! Oh crap you got to be kidding me please :/

What are you waiting on this Wednesday (or I shoud say Thursday)? :)

Top Ten Books That Have Been Collecting Dust On My Shelves..

It's Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is
Books That Have Been Collecting Dust On My Shelves...An Embarrassing Top Ten Tuesday

1. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
Ok, THIS is so so embarrassing. I've been waiting to read this book since December last year. I've been dying while waiting this book for 9 months. And when August came along I was just so so happy about it. Finally. I got the book!  :) Aaaaa. Ahh, I've never read it. Weird. Totally. But I just didn't. And I feel really guilty about it. I said a couple of days ago this is what I will be reading next.. And I didn't. I don't know, I love Richelle Mead, she is my favourite author EVER, but this Adrian thing.. Ahh, I will read it soon so I will know. And I bet the book is great. :P

2. One Day by David Nicholls
God, I said I will read this book since the movie came out in beginning of September I think, while I was still in London. They said the movie was great so I kind of thought the book will be better like always, and yet I haven't read it.

3. The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart
I've been planing to read this book since August. So far, I haven't started it yet. Shame on me!

4. Lola and The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Oh my God! This is awful. Totally awful. This is going on since summer, and I still haven't read it.

5. Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Same as for Lola. Damn, I actually feel really guilty for not picking these two books up. I really wanted to read them. Seriously. It's just.. Too much paranormal and I find it difficult to find time for these two. That's it! I guess.

6. Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
I love this title and I wanted to read this book so badly!! And I just didn't. YET.

7. Die For Me by Amy Plum
I feel totally awful about this book. I wanted to read it so so much and then I got it and then I started reading Firelight - which was, by the way, waiting for me to read since summer as well. Ahh, too much book, so little time :/

8. Need by Carrie Jones
Ahh this book, the cover looks so cool and I have it, but somehow I didn't start it yet.

9. The Knife Of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
THIS book they all said it is AMAZING. And I was like "I need to read this I need to read this!!" and actually never started :/

10. The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Yeah, I know. I haven't read Harry Potter and it's a shame. Belive me, I KNOW. I decided this year that I'm gonna read it. I haven't watched the movies. Just the first 2 or 3 I guess. But then again ... I was really small when I saw these movies, so it doesn't count :P But somehow I don't put myself into actually reading it. It feels like I HAVE to, not want to. I don't know. I will somedays. Hopefully soon ;)

What about you? About which book do you feel embarrassed that you haven't picked it up yet?

In My Mailbox (4)

"In My Mailbox" is a weekly post hosted at The Story Siren and it's about what new books we got in the mail or we bought or got in the library or whatever this week.

I went to Lubiana two days ago. We were heading home from Pohorje on which we had, let me tell you, such an amazing time!! We had a Psychology Camp! It was amazing! :) So yeah, on the way home we stopped to go to McDonald's and I spotted my favourite bookstore!! We used to have one in Maribor, but they closed it last year :/ So you can imagine how happy I was when I saw it. I think my wallet wasn't happy either. Who cares, right?

Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Fire by Kristin Cashore

I've found these two and I was so so happy!! Graceling they all said it so so good so I NEEDED to buy this book! And of course the sequel as well :P

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Paranormalcy I think I saw somewhere on someone's blog that is really cool so I decided to buy it :) About Hush, Hush.. I've already read the book. Twice I think. In October the first time, and then after reading Silence, I've read it once more. I love this book. Really! I mean I love the whole series, but the first book is just Aaaaah <3. The way Patch makes her fell in love with him, the way he acts - honestly I want (once in my lifetime) a guy who will act exactly like Patch in this book! - Ok, without the killing part - that was creepy but seriously Who ever believed he would have done it? You see my point. So I needed to buy myself this book. It's like a personal bible about a guy of your dreams :P And it's not that he can't be real ;) Without the angel part anyway :PP

SO yeah I am so so happy about this books!

And also.. I've bought my Mum Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. She was really happy about it! :)

What did you got/bought this week? :)

Top Ten Books I Reluctantly Read And Then Loved

It's Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is
Top 10 Books I Reluctantly Read And Then Loved

1. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Yeah, SHOCK I know. I kind of get into shock when I think about it back then. But it was like that. I was really into Twilight. Like REALLY. And when I came back from my Erasmus in the summer of 2010, my mum told me about Vampire Academy. And I was like "Mum seriously? I'm into Twilight and NOTHING is going to change that" Something like that. I haven't pick it up the whole summer. And then in september my mum told me again to read it. She was like "Nea tha main character kind of reminds me of you." Huh? Ok, I give it a try. Little did I know. I became obsessed with Vampire Academy more than I was ever obsessed in my life. So yeah, now it's my favourite series EVER. Thanks to my mum :)

2. Firelight by Sophie Jordan
Ok weird I know, but I couldn't put myself into reading this book for months. I didn't have time, ok that's a lie.. Whenever I wanted to read a new book I always thought about other books, even if meanwhile I knew that I really need to read this one. Until a couple of days ago. And Oh My God!! I think I've been literally wasting my life contemplating if read this book or not. Ahh, thank God I had some common sense and took this book in my hands :)

3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Well, Anna from @AnnaReads recommended me this series. I highly appreciate her judgment about books, so I knew this book must be great. But still!! The cover was.. black. Nothing special, I thought. And then I started reading.. And in the beginning, I was like "Huh? Is it just me or I kind of don't know what the book is about?" But I kept reading. And then it was like pooof!! Wooow it was amazing!! I couldn't stop reading!! It was totally awesome! And interesting and sad at the same time. I loved it!

4. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Well well, I've seen this book all around on every blog I visited. I liked the cover though. But I kind of didn't like the wolf thing. I wasn't really into wolves. I'm still not. But still I gave it a try to this series and in the end, I liked it. Wolves stories are not that bad like I used to think ;)

5. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
My best friend recommended it to me. She doesn't read much (not at all, to be honest) so when she said she was literally in love with this book I said I need to read it! After 50 pages I couldn't understand how could she like a book like that. I mean, Darcy was a total jerk, Elizabeth's mother a total bitch.. Mahh. I left it at 50 pages for years. And then this year again after seeing it on all blogs I decided to revive it a try. I finished it. Well yeah, they were right, it is a good story ;)

6. If I Stay by Gayle Forman
This book was also one of the books I kept repeating myself to read it but never succeed until a couple of days ago. Stupid stupid stupid!! This book was amazing. So so painful, but so so amazing!! I love it <3

7. Forever by Maggie Stiefvater
Well, Linger wasn't one of my favourite books ever, so I was contemplating if reading the last book in the series at all. I usually finish what I started, so I decided to read the last book. And it was the best!! The dynamic between Isabel and Cole was PURE bliss! :) I loved that :)

8. The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson
Ok, this one is an exception. After reading 70 pages I couldn't put myself to read it to the end. Maybe I will someday. But I've found it weird because I loved both first and the second book of the series. I don't know..

Ok, honestly I don't know about any book to make 9 and 10. In school, we used to read books that were assigned as MUST read. We all hated them. Classics and stuff. But I must admit that some of them really were great. They are in Slovenian because of Slovenian authors. Now that I think about it, I actually can list two of them :P

9. Dogodek v Mestu Gogi by Slavko Grum
10. Na Klancu by Ivan Cankar

That's it!
What about you? What books are/aren't in your comfort zone? :)
