Blogspiration #12

Blogspiration is a Brand Spankin' New weekly meme hosted by both GrowingUp YA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writters alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation and just a little SOMETHING.

Okay, so for this week's post I decided to post about this awesome project that we started today within the Maribor Psychology Student's Association. The project has been made possible by the European Capital of Culture 2012 program. 

So, the project is called Sreče-Valci - which means "Spreading Happiness". We are a group of 21 psychology students and during the month of May we will be around the centre of the city of Maribor to spread happiness. Now you want to ask "How exactly?" Well, We have this awesome t-shirts with the logo and we are based on squares in the centre. We smile at people, say hi. We help if someone needs help. We are open to conversation, if people need one. 

Today was the first day and OMG it was fun! The only bad thing was that we did this around lunch time, so really there weren't many people around. But nonetheless, it was cool. We made groups of 3 students on each square. I got to talk to a girl, which was reading a book on a porch. I introduced our project and we started talking easily. We talked about books (yeah, I know! :P) We also gave directions to turists. 

It was a great experience and I really can't wait to do it again!
