Lady Aline Marsden was brought up for one reason: to make an advantageous marriage to a member of her own class. Their passionate transgression was unforgivable—John was sent away, and Aline was left to live in the countryside…an exile from London society.

…and he took her love.

Oh, wow. This book! I loved all the four Wallflowers books, but this one was ... magic. And it encompass two love stories! How awesome is that?
I really wanted to hear the love story between Gideon and Livia! I thought this book was about McKenna and Aline's love story. So imagine my surprise when I discovered it was about Gideon and Livia too! Double awesomeness.
This book did not disappoint one tiny bit. It was complex, with greatly developed characters, full of humour and ofcourse, hot steamy romance!
Both Marsden sisters were great characters and easy to connect with. Although I must admit I liked Livia more! She was so bold, fierce and lovely. She charmed me the same way she charmed Gideon - completely. And she deserved the happy ending.
And both love interests were very fine gentlemen, indeed. Very different, but both charming and adorable in their own way.
The Wallflowers is an amazing series, and I love it to bits. All the books are great and made of awesome, but this one is just pure perfection altogether. So, if you are searching for a great - super - awesome historical romance, do yourself a favour and pick this book up. I swear it won't disappoint you. You won't be able to read it fast enough and then you will be sad that you finished so fast ;)
